Working with the government often comes with red tape. Lawyers in our Government Relations and Public Policy practice area have a wide range of experience representing clients before government agencies at the local, state and federal levels.

Our experienced lawyers have varied backgrounds in government affairs and politics, and regularly counsel clients on matters related to bid protests and procurement, government contracts, immigration, public finance, securities, insurance coverage and regulation, professional licensing, industrial security and security clearance, environmental law, disputes with government agencies and Certificate of Need (CON) matters specific to health care facilities.

From a public policy and legislation perspective, a number of the firm’s lawyers and other professionals are lobbyists and political consultants who represent clients before various government agencies, tribunals and executive offices. Working side-by-side with Armstrong Teasdale subsidiary AT Government Strategies LLC (ATGS), our lawyers engage in activities such as addressing regulatory and political matters, supporting legislative agendas and providing advice on state lobbying issues. ATGS provides government relations and strategic counsel to advance the business objectives of companies, industry associations and other entities. Our bipartisan team has a long track record of success helping shape public policy, legislation and regulations on behalf of clients at the federal, state and local levels of government.
